About Us
Periplus Line brings you unique, new, old, out of print and hard-to-find books
mostly from South Asia, but also from near at hand.
Book publishing, import and sales have operated from this site in East Glastonbury
for three decades.
Periplus Line LLC has combined the output of the following:
- The Ind-US Inc. collection - vintage items, mostly paperback, imported
1960s - 1990s from India-based publishers
- The Homestead Collection - Rare Books; Signed Books; Local History & Genealogical
- The Writers Workshop Collection - modern India poetry and classics
- Parijata Publications - our own publications; genre: Indian Thought, India Traditions,
Indic Religions; Hinduism; India Folklore and Art

Sales
All items are guaranteed in condition as described in our listings on Abebooks.com.
Where we have multiple copies of a title, the best copy is offered for sale. Sold items are
returnable with due notice given within 10 days only if incorrect/not as described/received
damaged/or mistaken order by customer.
Orders must be prepaid at the above sites or via Paypal to manager@periplusbooks.com. Libraries and
Booksellers may apply to pay by check.
For orders placed directly with us, we accept Bookseller Checks and Paypal.
If the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
We ship by USPS, with free Delivery Confirmation,and can usually help you track down a delayed U.S.
Domestic delivery. For books shipped abroad, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Books shipped to Connecticut addresses are subject to sales tax.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is
heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know the extra shipping costs.
The basic cost for shipping is $3.99 per item; prorated on Abebooks for additional items.

Returns
Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, we'll email to let you know we've received them and inspect
the items. If approved, we will issue a refund or credit / exchange within approximately 48 hours.
